Ryan White (HIV/AIDS)

JALA maintains a special project that addresses the civil legal needs of those in our service area who are infected or directly affected by HIV/AIDS. We offer the full menu of services otherwise offered by JALA, but do so with a special sensitivity to the needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA’s).

Funded with dollars made available through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act, JALA’s Ryan White unit serves the five counties of the Jacksonville Transitional Grant Area (TGA) as defined in the Act. This area includes Duval, Clay, Saint Johns, Nassau, and Baker counties in Northeast Florida.

If you are a person infected or directly affected by HIV/AIDS and would like to request our assistance, please contact Christine Rozier (904) 356-8371, ext. 310. Appointments are available in the JALA offices located in Duval, Clay, and Saint Johns counties.
