What inspired you to become a lawyer?

In elementary school, I remember a student who was in trouble and he was not doing a good job of telling his side of the story.

I decided at that point I wanted to be the voice for others. I wanted to be an advocate for others. I have not wavered.

How does your undergraduate degree relate to your practice of law?

My undergraduate degree is in political science with a minor in psychology. To practice law effectively, you need to know who is in office and what the “hot” political topics are in your community and the world. Knowing how people think and feel is important in the practice of law.
