Help Northeast Florida Children Thrive
Sunday, December 15 – Friday, December 20, 2019
Freed to Run is a 6 marathons in 6 days point-to-point relay –
with teams running a single marathon each. While each team member runs a section of the course, his or her teammates are transported to the next checkpoint by event sponsor Elite Parking.
Freed to Run donations go directly to Jacksonville Area Legal Aid’s endowment for the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership and are matched by the Baptist Health Foundation at 125 percent.
Each day, relay teams will be picked-up at the Duval County Courthouse (corner of Adams St. & N. Pearl St.) and shuttled to their start line at a North Florida courthouse on a 6-marathons-in-6-days quest as follows (see daily start times/transportation schedule):
- Sunday, December 15 – Florida Supreme Courthouse, Tallahassee
- Monday, December 16 – Jefferson County Courthouse, Monticello
- Tuesday, December 17 – Madison County Courthouse, Madison
- Wednesday, December 18 – Suwanee County Courthouse, Live Oak
- Thursday, December 19 – Columbia County Courthouse, Lake City
- Friday, December 20 – Baker County Courthouse, Macclenny
(finishing at the Duval County Courthouse, Jacksonville)
