SUMMARY:
Jon Pridgeon joined JALA in 2025 and serves as staff attorney in the Nassau County office. Prior to working at JALA, Jon was counsel and global privacy lead for an international travel and lifestyle company and counsel and chief privacy officer for a regional financial institution. Before his tenure in the corporate world, Jon was a state bank examiner, served as counsel for two State of Florida regulatory agencies and as staff attorney for Florida’s Ninth Judicial Circuit Court as well as senior attorney in a commercial litigation firm. Jon has volunteered as a guardian-ad-litem for at-risk children, served on the Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Law Committee, and currently serves on the Florida Bar’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Committee. He frequently volunteers with and supports several community service organizations and nonprofits in Nassau County.
EDUCATION:
Jon graduated cum laude with dual degrees from Florida State University and obtained his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Jon served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Elizabeth Kovachevich of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and as a research assistant in creditors’ rights.
